The Staff Room

Teachers To Your Home aims to provide the highest quality of service to families and to teachers, across England and Wales; providing high quality home tuition and the very best outcomes for learners; whilst also offering a professionally rewarding experience for teachers.

Dearest Teachers,

Over the last two months, we have moved to a system of collecting tuition fees by Direct Debit from parents. The size of this business has grown significantly and we have done this to avoid having to send out several hundred invoices each month. It is proving to be a much better system but it does take a day or two longer. The schedule will be:

1st day of each Month - Parents and Teachers receive a copy of their timesheet to check through

8th day of each Month - Funds taken from the Parents Accounts by Direct Debit

13th day of each Month - Direct Debits take up to 5 days to transfer funds from Parents Accounts to our Business Account (this is the slower bit)

14th day of each Month - We transfer funds from our Business Account to your account by BACS payments.

We continue to be very busy with large numbers of requests; in particular for Primary, SEN, 11+, 13+, GCSE and A level tuition. We are also seeing an increasing demand for home schooling, requiring tutors to provide tuition through the daytime, rather than at evenings or weekends.

Last month, in April 2018, 111 teachers joined us as new tutors. Please read some of their comments here. If you have any comments to add, please add these into the feedback box at the bottom of this page.

Please call us on 01993 774549, if you have any questions
