Ms Aina M

I am a fully qualified Primary Teacher and I can provide primary tuition for children in KS1 (Year 1 and 2). I am a native Spanish teacher and so can also offer Spanish (or Catalan) tuition. Since last May, I've been working as a tutor for the National Tutoring Programme (NTP) in some primary schools across Birmingham. I've been helping children from KS1 (Year 1 and 2) to catch up with their reading and maths. I use Letters and Sounds which is a systematic approach for teaching your child to read using phonics. I can teach maths for children in Year 1 and Year 2 using a variety of resources like number lines, objects, games, dices, numicon, etc, to make numbers engaging, understandable and fun. I tailor every lesson according to each child needs. I also try to be supportive and give a lot of positive feedback during my lessons to encourage learning, confidence and happiness.
