Helping students develop their skills and build their confidence in learning languages is my focus, whether it be for pleasure, business or obtaining qualifications. My students find me approachable and supportive. As a reflective practitioner, meeting their needs is always the key element of their learning experience. I began teaching adults over 25 years ago, and then qualified to teach MFL in secondary schools. After several years, I began to tutor all ages on a self-employed basis, to private students and adult education classes. I also produce all my own teaching resources. On a personal note, I am married with 3 grown-up children. We have 2 Labradors, a beautiful Maine Coon kitten and a handful of chickens.
