I am a qualified Primary School teacher from Northern Ireland. I have a specialism in Early Years and Key Stage 1. I have been teaching in a variety of private and state funded schools In Northern Ireland over the last three years but I have recently moved to the Bath area. I have experience teaching children with SEN and English as an Additional Language. I have developed a broad range of skills and techniques to support children who face challenges with learning needs, such as dyslexia and moderate learning difficulties. I believe children should be supported and challenged appropriately, with the correct resources and adult help, to reach their full potential. As a teacher I always aim to make learning a fun and engaging experience for children. I also have a Grade 8 Award in Speech and Drama and enjoy teaching children the art of poetry and drama, to develop their confidence and communication skills.
