I am a qualified English teacher with significant experience in preparing children for 11+ and 13+ exams. I have taught in both the state and independent sectors and have been an exam marker for KS2 SATs and GCSE English Lit and Lang. I have additional qualifications in literary difficulties and have undertaken extensive training in supporting children with creative writing. I am currently working with an editor and my first middle grade book is out on submission. I am passionate about reading and enthusing children, particularly reluctant readers. Mrs Elizabeth M

I have been working within education since 2003 and am an experienced and supportive teacher of English Language and English Literature. My passion is to teach and to help student to achieve their goals. I currently teach AQA GCSE English and am an experienced AQA exam marker. As a mum to a 15 year old and a 13 year old, I know that the current educational environment is a worrying one for young people and parents. Therefore, I want to use my experience and my supportive and caring teaching nature to ensure the success of the next generation.
