I am a qualified and experienced Primary Teacher with 30 plus years experience in Key Stages 1 and 2. I have provided preparation lessons for KS1 and KS2 SATs, 11+ and School Entrance Examinations. Currently I am tutoring a number of children of differing abilities, key stages 2-4, in English and maths (including foundation stage GCSE). I presently I am teaching on line using different platforms ie Zoom and Bramble. My lessons are creative and interesting using a variety of teaching methods - PowerPoints, whiteboards, games, videos, discussion. Children make good progress and enjoy my lessons. I am looking forward to more face to face teaching soon! I ensure that I keep in touch with parents through on line conversations, texts and emails. A qualified Primary School Teacher, currently with 5 years qualified experience. I have experience in teaching across the whole range of Primary ages - KS1/Foundation Phase and KS2. During this time, I have undertaken supply work, which has enabled me to experience different schools, where I have experienced lots of different learning styles that I have incorporated into my own practise. I have also worked long term in a number teaching roles within different Primary schools. I have worked in both KS2 and KS1/Foundation Phase, however most of my time has been spent teaching long term in KS1/Foundation Phase.
