Fully qualified and experienced tutor in English and Maths. As well as subject specific qualifications, I also have an MA in Education. I deliver maths and English at Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3 and GCSE across all the major exam boards. I can also help students to prepare for School Entrance Examinations and the 11+, as well as GCSE resits. I also offer vast experience of tutoring literacy and numeracy skills to adult learners. I specialise in helping students to overcome barriers to learning and have experience dealing with student who have Aspergers and Autism.

I am a published author and a qualified teacher with over 30 years of teaching and tutoring experience. For primary school children, I offer maths and English tuition, as well as preparation for both SATs and 11+ exams. For secondary school students, I provide English grammar, writing, reading and comprehension revision. TEFL trained, I teach English speaking, reading and writing for students of all ages and abilities for whom English is not their first language. Or, why not learn something new? I also offer piano and creative writing lessons for adults and children. I subscribe to the DBS update service and am happy to teach online.
