An experienced Primary Teacher, with recent experience teaching both Year 2 and Year 6, including preparing for SATS. I have taught every year group in the primary age range and have worked in a variety of different types of schools as well as supply teaching. I am able to teach across the Primary Curriculum, including EYFS, Key Stages 1 and 2. I have lots of experience working with children with a variety of special needs, including complex behaviour difficulties. I have a special interest in the mental well being of my pupils and my strength lies in forming excellent relationships, in order to ensure learners meet their full potential.

An experienced private tutor, I am a fully qualified teacher of 14 years and a headteacher of 3. I have taught at secondary and primary level and been a Headteacher of a primary school for 3 years. Alongside my teaching work in schools I have privately tutored students of all ages in English, Maths, French and Spanish. For the last 18 months I have been a full-time private tutor. I am passionate about raising achievement and believe that my perceptive, enabling and incisive approach inspires confidence and belief in others that anything can be achieved.

I am a qualified primary school teacher with nearly 30 years experience across KS2. I tutor children in their preparation for the Essex 11+, KS2 SATs and to boost children’s achievements and confidence in class. I am currently SENCo and English Lead at St. Anne’s Preparatory School in Chelmsford. I also run the school library and believe that reading is at the heart of the curriculum. I offer support which is tailored to your individual child, engaging pupils with a range of teaching methods to suit their own learning style.
