I am currently a member of the senior academic leadership team at one of Britain’s leading independent educational institutions, where I hold the post of director of the International Baccalaureate. The school has received several awards for the program I direct and I was recently awarded the “Outstanding Educator Award” from the University of Chicago for teaching. I began my academic career reading physics at the University of Manchester. I graduated with a first-class honours and a university prize, and subsequently a PhD. The students I teach (and departments I run) have all seen unprecedented success in absolute and value-added terms. I have been a private tutor for students for well over a decade, teaching physics and mathematics at (I)GCSE, A-level, IB, Oxbridge entrance and undergraduate. As well as preparation for exams, I can support students with coursework, university applications and interview technique. I am happy to teach and have experience with all ability ranges.
