Ms Beverley B

As a qualified teacher with 30 years of experience in state and private schools, I have an in-depth knowledge of the UK curriculum. I have successfully taught all age groups with excellent results. I understand what motivates children and always strive to add an element fun to my teaching. I have also tutored successfully for 18 years. My experience with the independent entrance exam process and SATS enables me to prepare children for exams and I have helped many children gain places at their chosen schools. I also have wide experience working with children who need additional support - for example ADD, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia. I help children become more confident, efficient and motivated learners by developing their skills and teaching them how to problem solve. I am friendly, reliable and have a good sense of humour. Working with children and seeing them grow in confidence and understanding is important to me.

Miss Rachel E

I am a qualified Primary School Teacher and have recently been travelling. Before this I spent a year in Australia where I worked at a Kindergarten in Australia educating 4 - 5 year olds. I am friendly, hard working and enthusiastic with a strong commitment to working with children. I have a vast amount of experience working with children of different ages. During my teacher training I taught both KS1 and KS2, whereas when I was employed as a class teacher my focus was primarily KS1. I have extensive knowledge on child development from my degree as well as my PGCE and a vast amount of experience working with children of all ages. In previous jobs I have worked closely with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage). My current job as a Primary School Teacher has given me a lot of experience with the National Curriculum. I am very creative in my approach to teaching, I believe children learn in different ways and so alter my teaching style to meet pupils needs.

Mrs Lindsay H

I am a fully qualified and experienced teacher. I left full time teaching in schools six years ago following the birth of my first child in order to strike a better work/life balance. For the last five years I have specialised in exclusively tutoring for the 11+ Kent Test. I love tutoring for the Kent Test and have seen many children that I have tutored move on to Kent Grammar schools. I reccomend myself if you are looking for a tutor who really knows the Kent Test and would like a tutor who can tutor for it with a systematic and thorough approach to cover all the material and follow-up with plenty of pratice for all areas of the test. As I tutor for the test, it is the case that children ineveitably see their performance in the classroom consistently improve. If you would like to know more about how I work or what I can offer you, please feel free to contact me. I am very happy to answer any questions you may have by email or in a telephone conversation.

Ms Susanna T

I currently work as a Primary Teacher in Year 2 in a school in Hackney. Prior to this, I worked at a school in Enfield for 4 years where I worked across Years 2, 4, and 5. I am interested in teaching as I am motivated to ensure that all children have access to high-quality education. My vision as a primary school practitioner is to provide children with a curriculum that allows them to explore the world around them by asking questions. I then support them to engage with and understand the answers to these questions through the relevant knowledge and skills. My passion lies in ensuring that all children have access to high-quality education. I hold high expectations of all children and work hard to help my pupils achieve their potential.
