Qualified and experienced Primary Teacher, currently teaching in Glasgow. Trained in Scotland- Strathclyde University. I teach across the Primary Curriculum, including EYFS, Key Stages 1 and 2. In Scotland, this is primary 1-7. I have experience of enhancing children's reading and writing skills as well as their numeracy. I have a BA in Childhood Studies which has played a big role in understanding child development and the importance of differing teaching strategies to meet the needs of all of my learners. I have recently gained a further level 2 Qualification focussing on supporting mental health in children and young people. I have also completed my SCEL teacher leadership course this year which has allowed me to further enhance my practice, focusing on an enquiry based project. I am a fully qualified and experienced (16 years) Primary teacher, now a part-time supply teacher.
