Mrs Deb G

I’m a very experienced Psychology Teacher, with over 25 years experience. Previously, I was Head of Psychology at an outstanding school in the Midlands, teaching both AQA and OCR A level. Psychology was the 2nd most popular A level choice and students generally exceeded their target grades. Currently, I work as an independent educational consultant. I work for both AQA and OCR as an examiner and a CPD trainer. This gives me a unique insight into the examination system which I can pass on to my students. I have a proven track record of enabling students to exceed their potential in Psychology. I have a wealth of experience supporting students with autistic spectrum disorders, dyslexia and general anxiety disorders. I also work as an author and write resources, articles and books for psychology students and teachers and I’m treasurer for the Association for the Teaching of Psychology (www.theatp.uk). On a personal level, I am married with two grown-up daughters, three grandchildren and a cat called Nancy.
