I am an experienced primary school teacher who has taught across a range of age groups. I'm a friendly, calm and positive person who loves working with children of all ages. I am offering tutoring for children in Key Stage 1 and 2 to support their learning needs across areas of the curriculum they are not confident with, or in preparation for SATs. I taught in a Year 1 class for three years so I am very experienced in teaching phonics and early reading. I also have experience teaching children with special educational needs. Alongside full time teaching, I have also been teaching Piano for the last 8 years, this has included students learning for fun and those wishing to sit exam grades. I also have a Psychology degree and can tutor children studying GCSE and A-Level Psychology. My teaching methods will focus on what works for your child to maximise our time together. I look forward to hearing from you.

I am an experienced A level Psychology tutor, with over 25 years in the classroom and 5 years of one to one coaching. I offer personalised sessions for OCR, AQA and Edexcel specifications at A level , as well as Scottish Highers and Cambridge International. I can support students with additional needs, including dyslexia and ADHD, as well as young people facing challenges related to their mental health. As well as teaching, I was also the Director of Sixth at a large comprehensive school for 12 years so am able to integrate study skills to enhance progress, paying equal attention to both the knowledge needed and the skills to apply it . I believe that students do better if they have a clear goal in mind, whether that be a particular grade, university course or career and have the experience and knowledge to support young people to achieve their goals. I have Diplomas in Life Coaching as well as CBT and integrate the skills I have gained to improve confidence and motivate change.
