Mr Matthew C

I am an experienced, highly qualified History teacher based in a Manchester school. As is the case for many, I also have experience of teaching French, Geography and Psychology. I have an undergraduate degree in History and a masters degree in Psychology alongside my PGCE . I also have extensive experience of SEN. I currently work on an alternative pathways course that caters for children who are not accessing mainstream education. Therefore, parents seeking support for children with autism, dyslexia or behavioural difficulties, feel free to contact me for support. Ms Louise R

I am an experienced A level Psychology tutor, with over 25 years in the classroom and 5 years of one to one coaching. I offer personalised sessions for OCR, AQA and Edexcel specifications at A level , as well as Scottish Highers and Cambridge International. I can support students with additional needs, including dyslexia and ADHD, as well as young people facing challenges related to their mental health. As well as teaching, I was also the Director of Sixth at a large comprehensive school for 12 years so am able to integrate study skills to enhance progress, paying equal attention to both the knowledge needed and the skills to apply it . I believe that students do better if they have a clear goal in mind, whether that be a particular grade, university course or career and have the experience and knowledge to support young people to achieve their goals. Mrs Nadia S

I am an experienced primary school teacher who has taught across a range of age groups. I'm a friendly, calm and positive person who loves working with children of all ages. I am offering tutoring for children in Key Stage 1 and 2 to support their learning needs across areas of the curriculum they are not confident with, or in preparation for SATs. I taught in a Year 1 class for three years so I am very experienced in teaching phonics and early reading. I also have experience teaching children with special educational needs. Alongside full time teaching, I have also been teaching Piano for the last 8 years, this has included students learning for fun and those wishing to sit exam grades. I also have a Psychology degree and can tutor children studying GCSE and A-Level Psychology. My teaching methods will focus on what works for your child to maximise our time together.
