Miss Isabelle C

I am a passionate and patient teacher with experience delivering science at KS2, KS3, GCSE and A-level. I also teach maths and English at KS2 and KS3. I am a qualified chemistry examiner for Edexcel and have taught science for a range of exam boards. Chemistry and Biology are my specialist subjects, however, I also have experience teaching GCSE physics. My current role is as a specialist teacher in a special needs school. Here I teach pupils with a range of needs including autism, ADHD and dyslexia. Given the range of ability in my class, I am highly skilled at differentiation and use a range of methods to help pupils learn. I teach my class all core subjects and some foundation subjects. I, therefore, have a broad experience teaching across the curriculum.

I am now self employed having retired from teaching. I have been Head of Psychology in several schools and taught all sciences at GCSE and Biology and Psychology to A level. I am a senior examiner for EDEXCEL A level Biology at present but have also been a senior moderator for CIE and an examiner for AQA. I am an author of several educational books, including a revision book for A level Biology. I have been a team leader for GCSE sciences for many years both for foundation and higher papers.

Mr Tom F

A qualified science teacher with 10 years of teaching experience in a variety of settings. I am passionate about science and believe that everyone can understand basic scientific principles with a little help. Often this means taking a holistic view and combining knowledge from different areas of the curriculum. I have had great success with this approach. I teach all three sciences (combined and triple) at GCSE & IGCSE. I have also taught biology and chemistry at A-level.
