I am a highly qualified (PGCE, BSc, CELTA) and experienced teacher and tutor offering: KS1/2 Primary curriculum academic support; SATS/IESB/Common Entrance exam preparation classes and KS2-5 Spanish and French. Having been a Class Teacher, School Leader and Language Specialist in the state and independent sectors from primary through to the sixth form, I am proficient in tailoring teaching and learning to suit each individual's specific needs. My role in school has recently changed from full-time Year 6 Class Teacher to part-time Intervention Teacher as part of the National Tutoring Program for Years 3, 5 and 6 with the ultimate aim of closing learning gaps as a result of 2020/2021 school closures, securing understanding of key concepts and accelerating progress. This change in hours now presents me with more time to dedicate to other clients in the form of Lockdown Home Learning support and guidance or targeted private tuition for key curriculum subjects or entrance exam preparation (11+ and 13+).
