Fully qualified primary school teacher of fifteen years and former deputy head teacher. I am currently working as a supply teacher and tutor after relocating to Derbyshire last year. I teach across Key Stage One and Two. I look to help build a child’s confidence in their learning and ability as well as boosting their knowledge and understanding in whichever curriculum areas they may require extra support. As an experienced Year 5/6 teacher, I specialise in support for SATs.

Teaches all core subjects within the Primary National Curriculum, from Early Years Foundation Stage to Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, across all ages and abilities including SEN. Also offers GCSE English Language, and support for 11+ and independent school entrance examinations.

Teaches across the Primary Curriculum, with majority of experience in Key Stage 2. Administered the Key Stage Two SATs for the past 2 years and also became a Maths examiner this year; is confident to prepare children for these tests, as well as School Entrance Exams and 11+. Currently in the process of achieving the SENCO award recognition, and has a good understanding of working alongside children with SEN.

I am a qualified teacher with a First class BA Hons degree in primary education. I am currently a foundation stage teacher with several years experience across the primary age including EYFS, KS1 and KS2. I specialise in phonics and English and I am currently the lead in these areas within my school. I have several years experience of supporting children with both the year 2 and year 6 SATs as well as preparing for grammar school entry exams. I strongly believe that every child has the potential to achieve phenomenal outcomes and I adapt my teaching styles and approaches to each individual learner.

'I am in my tenth year of teaching and am classed as an "outstanding" teacher. I have had teaching experience in Years 1/2, 3/4 and Year 5/6 covering all classes. I work extremely hard for the children I teach, ensuring they receive the best possible education. I am open-minded and positive at all times and am very flexible in adapting to people and situations.
