I am a qualified primary teacher with 20 Years experience working in the primary sector. I am currently self employed as a Teaching and Learning Consultant, supporting teachers and Headteachers in schools. My area of expertise is phonics and grammar. I have provided tutoring before to children and am aware of the need to keep the sessions interactive and pacey. I run a YouTube channel filled with phonics videos. As an experienced teacher I have assessed children on many occasions and identified their strengths and areas to develop. Tutoring provides the opportunity for children to look closely at a particular area of learning and ask questions and grow in confidence. As a teacher I am very well acquainted with the National Curriculum and able to start learning where the children needs it.
