I Moved to London in 2013 and since then, I have been teaching biology to 6th form students and Science to secondary school students. I started work in UCL Academy in 2015 and in 2018 I become the Head of Biology of the UCL Academy in Camden. At Key Stage 4 I have successfully developed and delivered Double and Triple Science. Mr Mark W

I have been teaching Physics since 1995 and have been Head of Department since 2007 at one of the top schools in the country (in London). I have also been a personal tutor for several years, helping students to achieve the grades needed for their dream course or University. With all this experience I can certainly help students improve their confidence, knowledge and grades at GCSE, IGCSE, A-level or even IB. During my time teaching, I have also held the position of Teaching & Learning coordinator for the school and take an active role in educational research - such as making thinking visible and assertive discipline. My approach to tutoring is personable, light-hearted but very structured and I provide clear feedback to both students and parents. More recently, I have completed a diploma in SEND teaching to help me understand the difficulties students have with learning from a Cognitive and Social, Emotional and Behaviour perspective. I'm very easy to get on with and an incredibly hard worker.

SUBJECTS TAUGHT:
Physics
Qualifications:
Diploma in SEND Teaching, Teaching & Learning courses at Kings College London (2021). PGCSE Nottingham Trent University (1995). BSc (Hons) Physics, Nottingham University (1993).
