I am able to tutor Biology and Chemistry to A-level and Physics to GCSE. In my current role, I take responsibility for KS3 Science and contribute to the department's development. I am responsible for ensuring that we deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum which provides all students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential. In addition, I am also a team leader for Edexcel for the GCSE Biology and Combined Science papers and therefore have an excellent understanding of what is required for this specification.

Worked as a government research scientist and has published over 10 research papers and several book chapters about biology. Currently working on two text books for science. I have a passion for science, education (having developed several of the UK GCSE specifications), public engagement in science (including being an 'ask the biologist' at New Scientist Live 2016 & lecturing twice at the 'Science at the Savile' meetings) & the occasional TV appearance. Teaches Science, Physics, Chemistry and Biology up to GCSE and iGCSE; teaches Biology up to A Level across all the major Exam Boards. Chief Examiner for two international qualifications. Exam Analyst for Biology. I have trained examiners how to write papers (Egypt). Fellow of The Royal Society of Biology (2016).
