I previously worked in the Further Education sector where I taught BTEC Level 2 and 3 Public Services, Biology, Chemistry and Physics and HND Applied Biochemistry and Biology, which is the equivalent of the first 2 years of University. I have been an examiner and Team Leader for Edexcel in GCSE History since 2008 I have also previously been an examiner in GCE Anthropology for AQA. I was also an experienced moderator in coursework for Edexcel in GCSE History until it was abolished in the reforms. I was an examiner for AQA in GCSE Chemistry and I am currently also a GCE examiner in Biology with Edexcel.

I am a qualified Science teacher and I specialise in Biology. I have a strong academic background in Science. I achieved a first grading in BSc Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Surrey and have had clinical experience working as a dietitian in the NHS prior to my teaching career.
