I came into teaching after working in the electronics/telecoms industry as a Design Manager and Project Manager. I have obtained a variety of industry qualifications, the highest being a Masters in Business Administration. I qualified as a teacher of ICT in 2003 but always worked across subjects teaching both ICT and Physics and Maths in a challenging school in the North West of England for 9 years. I relocated to Oxfordshire in 2012. After 15 months in a private college in Oxford teaching international students who continued onto a British University after their studies at A level. I decided to return to the state sector in an outstanding school in Berkshire teaching Science, Maths and Physics to A Level. I have now retired from the classroom and am building up a tutoring business working one to one or in small groups.
