Mrs Emma P

Hello. Let me take this opportunity to introduce myself; my name is Emma. I have been teaching since 2010 and I have been providing private tuition to a range of pupils and families since 2016. I love my job and I especially enjoy my 1:1 sessions as I enjoy building up that close bond and knowledge of what makes that pupil tick. I have worked with pupils ranging from KS1 to KS3 within this time. I am a qualified and experienced Primary teacher and I have taught across the ages and Key Stages and across all core subjects within the new Primary National Curriculum. I also teach English and Maths through to Key Stage 3. One of my strongest areas is supporting in SATs preparation and I have also successfully supported many pupils with their entrance exams of various ages. I have a vast experience with SEN pupils and I assess and monitor my pupils to ensure they are confident in themselves, have a raised self-esteem and a can-do attitude and are making good and steady progress. Thank you for your consideration.

I am a well qualified and very experienced teacher with 23 years of teaching Maths in independent and grammar schools. In this time I have tutored over 100 local children in preparation for SATs, 11+, 13+, school entrance exams, scholarships, GCSE and A levels, as well as to help with general confidence and progress. I also work as an examiner for Edexcel GCSE and IGCSE. I am now available on weekday mornings for home schooling and alternative provision for pupils that are not currently at school, and I have experience of SEN. I have very limited availability for online and face to face tuition on weekday evenings and at weekends, and could be available for before school sessions if required.
