Laura B

PGCE Mathematics. BSc (Hons) Mathematics.

Member since 2017 Ms Laura B

I have been teaching for over 15 years now. I absolutely love mathematics and have a maths degree. During my career I have begun to specialise at grades 6 and below at GCSE and the delivery of functional skills curriculum. I currently work at a college for autistic learners so have received lots of training around supporting learners on the spectrum. I am soon to start a level 5 dyscalculia course to help support learners with this diagnosis. I have tutored many students and always achieved the desired progress. I can teach maths before KS4 and have done in the past, I have also tutored primary aged students. I believe maths should be fun and engaging and should be understood not learnt through wrote.
