I have 29 years experience as a Maths Lead in a local FE college. I led on the development of new curriculum/specifications in Mathematics in particular the new GCSE 9 - 1 thus have an excellent working knowledge of GCSE maths syllabus. I am familiar with AQA, Edexcel and OCR exam boards. I can also offer preparation for A Level maths covering underpinning topics which are essential for students transition from GCSE to A Level, particularly in present times due to Covid 19. Employed as an examiner for AQA GCSE Maths Higher and thus I have an excellent working knowledge of mark scheme and exam strategy. I have experience in online modes of delivery, uploading resources and tracking student progress. I am familiar with Zoom and Google Classroom.
