I gained QTS in secondary maths eight years ago, having spent the previous ten years delivering successful one-to-one tutoring for maths up the GCSE level. I have worked in a variety of school settings with a diverse range of pupils, but my teaching is always characterised by being person-centred and designed to support children to maximise their potential in the subject even when it's not something that comes easily to them. I have experience as Deputy Head of Department in a large comprehensive school, as well as Faculty Lead in a specialist SEN setting for children with a primary diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). I examine at Key Stages 2 (SATs Capita), 4 (GCSE WJEC) and 5 (Core Maths AQA), and have previously examined at A Level (Edexcel).
