Currently pursuing a PhD in Social Anthropology at the University of Bristol, and providing private tuition in English and Maths for KS3 and GCSE (Foundation level only in Maths). Specialises in teaching English KS3 through to GCSE/IGCSE and has had great success with students who struggle with Maths. I am a qualified and experienced teacher of Maths and Science; tutoring Maths and Science across the whole school curriculum. I am an experienced Teacher in A level Maths, Biology and Chemistry. I also tutor GCSE's and IGCSE's in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Combined Science. I am familiar with the new exam system and have tutored for most exam syllabuses. I also work, part time, for an organisation that provides home school provision for students who are unable to attend main stream school for personal reasons. I am patient, reassuring and able to adapt to a student's particular needs and learning styles. I am committed to doing all that I can to help students prepare for their exams and future studies.

Currently working as a tutor, I have 30 years experience as a teacher in primary schools. I have taught all primary subjects but recently mainly maths. I have experience with dyscalculia and additional learning needs. I also have experience of entrance exams for secondary schools. I lived and worked in Surrey before moving back to West Wales last year. I am a mum to 4 girls (teenagers through to grown ups - allegedly) 2 who love maths and 2 who have really struggled and I think this really helps me appreciate each individual child's specific needs.
