After graduating in the field of Mathematics, I successfully completed a PGCE secondary teacher training programme, specialising in teaching Mathematics in secondary schools for ages 11-16. I have been teaching for up to 2 years across the Hertfordshire county and have gained a strong passion for teaching mathematics to students of all abilities.

Having recently seen my own children through their GCSE and A-level exams, I have personal experience of the anxieties these difficult years can cause both students and their parents. I am patient and motivated to see students achieve success as a result of hard work. I am happy to travel to students or the welcome them to my home. I am a qualified teacher with 23 years' experience of teaching Maths, tutoring primary and secondary school aged children and students taking GCSE exams. I currently teach maths and tutor students from Key Stage 1 through to GCSE and IGCSE; Functional Skills English and Maths for adult students and support GCSE and IGCSE resits. I tutor both in person and online. I am familiar with a variety of exam boards including AQA and Pearson. My most recent GCSE students (Summer 2020) achieved a grade 5, grade 7 and grade 8 respectively.
