Qualified and experienced Maths Teacher with over 25 years' experience, as a Headteacher, Secondary Maths Teacher and private tutor for all ages and abilities from Primary to adult. Majority of experience is in teaching GCSE Maths and KS3 English. I also have a strong background in tutoring EYFS, and Key Stages 1 and 2 for SATs and 11+. I have been a SENCO for over 15 years; helping those children who have 'fallen behind' to catch up with their peers. Offers all subjects across the Primary National Curriculum, English from Primary to Key Stage 3, functional skills in Maths and literacy for adults, and Maths from Primary, through to GCSE/IGCSE and A2/AS level.

After graduating from St Catharine's College, Cambridge, and with a PGCE from Leicester, I enjoyed 40 years at the chalkface, half of them as Headmaster. I have taught Geography, Maths and Economics; and in UK, Switzerland, Russia, China and Azerbaijan. Since retirement, I have been training teachers abroad, marking O Level and PGCE essays, and doing volunteer work teaching E2L. I speak French and rather less Russian & Indonesian. I love travel, cycling, and writing.
