Fully Qualified Primary teacher with over 20 years experience in a range of schools, now a full-time tutor offering a bespoke education programme. Degree specialised in English Language and Literature but when qualified completed interactive maths training at Southbank University early on in career went on to be a Maths Subject Lead for over 15 Years in a large Primary School supported staff with planning throughout school. Teaches all core subjects within the Primary National Curriculum, from Early Years Foundation Stage to Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 all ages and abilities. Teaches English Literature, Maths and History through to Key Stage 3. Provides support and preparation for SATs through Booster sessions. Support for School Entrance Exams . SEN experience, specific interest in dyslexia and anxiety and support with mindfulness and relaxation techniques for young people. Offers mainly online tutoring but some face to face where necessary or deemed more appropriate.

With 15 years’ experience in both Primary and Secondary sectors, I am a Senior Leader who brings about rapid improvements in my areas of responsibility with proven credibility. Currently, in my role as Director of Learning, I provide pedagogical leadership to support teaching and learning across a group of academies: supporting professional development across staff teams by leading training or modelling excellent teaching and consistently high expectations. I challenge, analyse and utilise data effectively, taking responsibility for improving not only end of Key Stage but also school-wide standards of teaching and learning by encouraging regular, rigorous self-evaluation. My responsibilities within these teams guarantees full compliance and understanding of current statutory testing guidance and procedures across both Primary and Secondary settings.

I have experience of private tuition of these subject as well as Maths at key stage 2 and 3, through to GCSE and A level. I have extensive experience over twenty years teaching and tutoring from 11-18. Subjects across science disciplines as well as mathematics. I currently work on a state secondary school with a good Ofsted rating and excellent exam results, above the national average against all measures.
