Qualified Maths Teacher with more than 10 years experience in both state and independent schools. Teaches Maths from Prep and Key Stage 3 through to GCSE, IGCSE and A level, including all AS and A2 modules for Maths and Further Maths. Teachers Physics thorugh to A level. Is a specilist in preparing pupils for STEP, BMAT and MAT examinations. Ensures full understanding of the underlying principles involved in the maths rather than just teaching the methods required. Is especially good at developing problem solving techniques and building confidence in pupils. Takes the view that you can teach anyone anything, as long as it is approached in the right way.

I am a highly experienced primary school teacher and Senco with over 20 years experience. I have worked with children of all ages from Year 1 to Year 6, including delivering interventions and personalised programmes for children with barriers to learning. I offer SATS preparation or booster work in all curriculum areas for children who find the pace of whole class teaching a little too much for them. I can also offer online lessons via Skype and Google Classroom.
