I’m currently staying at home with my daughter and can provide both online and face to face tutoring. Before having my daughter I was Head of English at Craigowan Prep School in Perth, teaching English to Years 6 - 8 (P6 - S1). I covered the curriculum for excellence curriculum and the Common Entrance syllabus. Previously, I have taught in a number of Prep Schools in London, rural England and Edinburgh. I have taught across the primary age range, from Reception/Primary 1 all the way up to Year 8/S1 with a particular specialism in the teaching of English. Miss Tracey S

I have over 25 years of experience as a qualified teacher, working mostly at primary level, although in the last few years I have been working as a supply teacher and have worked in secondary schools also. I have also worked as an exam invigilator for GCSE exams. I have experience of teaching year 6 and being involved in assisting children to work towards SATS, both at KS1 and KS2. Additionally, I have knowledge of various phonics programs, including letters and sounds and Read, Write Inc. and have incorporated both when teaching homeschooled children. Additionally, I have supported a number of students who have taken the 11+ and 13+ entrance exams. I have helped young people who are working towards their GCSE's, in Maths, English and the Sciences and have added qualifications in Functional Skills, which allows me to teach adults Maths and English also.
