As a qualified teacher with 30 years of experience in state and private schools, I have an in-depth knowledge of the UK curriculum. I have successfully taught all age groups with excellent results. I understand what motivates children and always strive to add an element fun to my teaching. I have also tutored successfully for 18 years. My experience with the independent entrance exam process and SATS enables me to prepare children for exams and I have helped many children gain places at their chosen schools. I also have wide experience working with children who need additional support - for example ADD, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia. I help children become more confident, efficient and motivated learners by developing their skills and teaching them how to problem solve. I am friendly, reliable and have a good sense of humour. Working with children and seeing them grow in confidence and understanding is important to me.
