Mrs Amie H

I’m a 37-year-old mum to three (almost) and I have a huge passion for making learning personalised and fun for each of my students. Learning should make us feel excited and proud! I strive to make each lesson engaging and memorable and work hard to fill gaps in learning and move children on with the appropriate challenge. We always have a giggle and a couple of biscuits halfway through is standard policy! I've worked with children from ages 4 to 12, helping students prepare for the Year 2 Phonics Screening, Year 2 and Year 6 SATs and catching up with the curriculum after the pandemic. I currently teach Year 2 but will be going on maternity leave in July and then after a short break, I’ll continue tuition once again. I’m experienced, friendly and love my job!
