I am a qualified and experienced teacher of English, History, French, Latin, Classical Civilisation & Functional Skills, and also offer preparation for SATs, and 11+/13+ Common Entrance exams, including Latin where relevant. I have taught Adult Functional Skills for many years, alongside IGCSE English, GCSE English, History and French, and have also worked with dyslexic pupils (my own children are dyslexic too). Students benefit from my teaching, feeling relaxed and confident with each subject, ensuring success. AQA, OCR, Eduqas, Edexcel & City & Guilds, are the boards with which I have recent experience. Learning, I believe, can only take place where clearly communicated ideas are fully understood by the learner; this is where I feel my strengths lie.
