Miss Paige G

I am 22 years old and have completed a degree in Education Studies at the University of Plymouth. I have at present just completed my PGCE in Primary Education, also at the University of Plymouth. I am an extremely hard-working individual who thrives to ensure they give 110% at every job I am asked to do. I am a good team worker and also work well individually to get on with the task at hand. I am a creative, compassionate and enthusiastic teacher. I have relevant experience in all age groups within schools and would love to keep building on this experience to create a safe and stimulating environment for all children within schools. Due to having gained a level of understanding across all key stages, I am able to prepare and teach age related lessons that will allow children to develop and grow their learning and understanding within core and broader curriculum subjects.

Mrs Holly T

Qualified and experienced primary school teacher now running my own messy play/playgroup business. My last teaching job (left August 2021) lasted for 6 years teaching across the primary and secondary curriculum to children/young people with SEN, SEMH, behavioural and all learners with ECHP in place. My extensive experience here allows me to attune well to a whole range of learning needs I may be faced with and I enjoyed the challenge of every day being different to the previous. The idea of tutoring is really exciting because I am able to adapt my teaching style, lesson content and use of language to really engage my young person without the external noise of other children and the environment which in a mainstream classroom can be a negative experience for learners with additional needs.

SUBJECTS TAUGHT:
Primary, SEN, Maths, English, SATs
Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (2016). Graduate Teacher Programme (2013). BA (Hons) Sports Development (2012).

Mr Greg W

After gaining a BEd Honours degree in Primary Education I embarked on my now 12-year teaching career, teaching in a range of locations including London as well as many schools in and around Devon and Cornwall. During my teaching career, I have worked across the Key Stages, working with a wide range of educational professionals. I was nominated for South West Digital Educator of the Year and ran a number of projects which enabled my classes to appear on shows such as Newsround. I have also produced and directed children at the Theatre Royal and have a range of sporting coaching qualifications. Another position I have experience with, and have greatly enjoyed, is that of a Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo). I have a PG Cert in Special Educational Needs and my work in this role has provided me with a vast knowledge of teaching children of a wide variety of abilities and ages. I now work solely as a private tutor to continue my passion for nurturing and educating children.
