I am currently a French and Spanish teacher working in an outstanding secondary school. I am a secondary school Science teacher, with a specialism of Chemistry up to A Level. I have 15 years experience, in which every school I have worked in have been judged ‘outstanding’ in the classroom. I have also been a head of year or key stage for the past 10 years, of which mostly with Year 11. Both asa head of year and as a GCSE or A level classroom teacher, I have excellent results with all my past cohorts, and also many success stories with past tutees. Mr Lewis R

After completing his A-levels in French, Spanish and Geography in 2012, Lewis began his BA in French and Spanish at University College London. He completed his degree with an Upper Second Class Honours and immediately joined the prestigious Teach First programme where he graduated with a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages from UCL. Throughout his teaching career he has achieved outstanding results at both GCSE and A-level. In his first year of teaching, he increased the pass rate (A*-C) for GCSE French from 46% to 83% and his average class grade for A-level Spanish (2019) was an A. He has experience of teaching both French and Spanish at GCSE-level and Spanish until A-level. He is fully equipped to teach both AQA and Edexcel. He is flexible and can vary my teaching depending on your child's needs.
