With over 20 years teaching in both the state and private sector, I have the experience and the motivation to help people enjoy and succeed in this subject. Patience and understanding are needed to ensure that students achieve their potential and I have an abundance of these attributes! I have experience in both Primary and Secondary education, teaching basic numeracy, SATS, 11+, 13+, KS3 and GCSE mathematics. In 2008 I completed the SPLD in Education and this gave me an insight into how educational needs (Dyslexia, Dyscalculia etc.) affect a student's ability in mathematics and the strategies used to overcome them. I love learning myself and during lockdown I taught all my school's students using Microsoft Teams. Everybody should love learning!
