Ms Abigail F

I have been an English teacher for eighteen years, Head of English for eight of those years, and a Head of School for the past six years. As well as teaching English at KS3, 4 and 5, I am also a GCSE examiner and KS2 SATs examiner. I have also examined A-level Literature. I have taught all exam boards, either in my role as an English teacher or tutor, and my results at GCSE and A-Level are consistently excellent. At A-Level I tutor in the areas of genre, textual study, context, wider reading and extended coursework elements. Throughout lockdown, I taught via Zoom, and I am happy to offer tutoring via this medium to students as I have found it to be an excellent method of intervention.
