I began teaching as an LSA focusing on autism. As a class teacher I taught children with ASD, dyslexia, hearing impairments, and took statemented children on Residential in KS2. I tutor in the core subjects across the Primary age range and can help prepare children for 7+ and 11+, whether it be to challenge learners, or to provide 1-1 support. Tailoring my teaching to meet individual needs, inspiring a love for learning, encouraging a growth mindset, and boosting confidence and self-esteem. In January 2020 I taught EFL online. I am a fully qualified and experienced Primary Teacher, currently teaching in Year 1 at a local primary school. I teach all core subjects (English & Phonics and Maths) within the Primary National Curriculum, from Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and lower Key Stage 2. I can offer tailored support for all abilities and I have some SEN experience. I am also able to offer some support for home schooling with coverage of the whole curriculum from age 4 to 8. Has taught a wide range of subjects and age groups in various primary schools, both in the state and independent sector. including as Head of Year. Has helped to prepare lots of children for their 11+ exams and has an excellent understanding of what is involved in these exams. SEN experience. Whilst I love teaching, I enjoy the one to one nature of tutoring and feel this is often much more beneficial to children than a busy classroom environment. It is easier to gauge children's misunderstandings and spend time working through them together.

Prior to my teaching role I was a qualified anaesthetic practitioner.
