I have been teaching for six years since obtaining QTS (2016). Prior to this, I received a BSc (Hons) in Computing in 2005 and between 2005 and 2015, worked as a software engineer, software consultant and ethical hacker for a fintech organisation. I am currently the Computer Science lead at a State Secondary school in Hampshire with c. 750 students. I teach the OCR Computer Science syllabus but am comfortable teaching all main exam boards, as well as other qualifications such as ICT, CIDA, IGCSE, iMedia etc. I am a Computer Science teacher trainer in North Hampshire for the SCITT program and have also recently completed a BA in Humanities and Philosophy with The Open University. I am a certified Duke of Edinburgh Leader and Assessor, and in my spare time I love cycling, running, playing in my band, supporting Sunderland and London Irish and spending time with my family. I have three sons under the age of four and so find myself spending less time on the other things than I used to!
