After a degree in Psychology I trained as a teacher for children with special needs and have taught maths and English. I have a Masters in Special Needs Education, I specialised in dyslexia and dyscalculia. I have taught children with a wide variety of particular needs . I coordinated a reading programme in school, set up the SEN role at a College, and was Gifted and Talented Coordinator at another school, always aiming to bring out the best in the students.
