My name is Megan and I am a mum to two young children. I am currently taking a break from permanent classroom teaching while my children are preschool age and am currently tutoring and supply teaching. I qualified as a primary school teacher in 2014 (having previously worked in local government) and have since taught both KS1 and KS2 including year 2 and year 6 and have also tutored children across both key stages. Whilst in my role as a Class Teacher I have also taken on several leadership roles including Science Subject Leader and Curriculum Leader. I have experience teaching children with SEN including autism, selective mutism and children with behavioural difficulties. I also offer 11+ tutoring and I am familiar with the CSSE format. In my teaching, I follow a child-led approach to identify and address misconceptions and to build upon prior learning.
