Mr Tim B

My approach to tutoring is to jointly identify any areas of concern and agree what needs to be covered and how this can be done. My style is based on mutual respect treating a tutee individually, being approachable in order for tutees to feel comfortable admitting what they don't understand. I go through the hard areas linking to every day examples using memes for learning and showing the details on a board if there is one or on paper. For students with exams approaching I use past papers and am able to help pupils using my knowledge as an exam marker for the major boards. I can teach all abilities and ages including KS3, GCSE, A level in all the sciences. I have taught aqa and salters chemistry and have examined gcse chemistry and a level biology with ocr and aqa. The following are feed back comments I have received: "I find the help amazing " "Very good tutor" "Tim has been reliable and consistent and xxxx feels very comfortable in his company and has built up a good rapport with him. “

Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, School Entrance Exams, 13+
Qualifications:
