I have a competent knowledge of the curriculum and how to engage, motivate and build the confidence of the children that I teach. Teaching in Year 6 for 10 years has given me a wealth of experience in preparing children for both their SATs exams and high school entrance exams (11+). For the past two years, I have tutored children from Reception to Year 6 in a range of subjects. I have enjoyed sharing my wealth of knowledge, experience and varied teaching styles to motivate children to learn, foster their creativity and fill them with confidence and belief in themselves.

I am currently a Director of Sixth Form and whole School Careers Lead. In sixth form I teach AQA A-Level Politics and WJEC Criminology. I am also a fully qualified Geography teaching in a secondary school in St Helens. Mr Thomas C

I am an enthusiastic and dedicated humanities tutor based in the Merseyside region. Following the completion of my NQT year in December 2016, I have since worked in a variety of teaching environments with experience of catering for pupils of all abilities and with a diverse range of educational needs. Having completed a bachelor’s degree in Geography, as well having chosen it as my specialism during my PGCE year, I am an expert in my field and have a track record of delivering engaging and challenging teaching in the subject across all secondary key stages. Currently I also work part-time as a lecturer in A-Level Geography at Hugh Baird College, Merseyside, a position that has allowed me to further enhance my knowledge and understanding of the key stage five Geography curriculum for the benefit of my tutees. I have also previously taught History to key stages three and four during previous positions, having built upon my A level in the subject to gain a solid understanding of the subject’s curriculum.
