Times are challenging for us all, but rest assured I am here to help, support and offer guidance where possible. Once again, we have just been hit with the news that children will be learning remotely from home over the upcoming weeks. I want to take this opportunity to offer my expertise in Primary Education and The National Curriculum for children across EYFS and KS1 – this can be done via zoom or another platform that parents feel comfortable with. I have a PGCE in Primary Education and Early Years with QTS and experience in and around EYFS and KS1 in different school settings. I can help with homework tasks your child/children have been set, or any Maths/English areas they are finding challenging. I understand children learn in different ways, so it is my mission to find the best way that works for the individual and make the learning experience as fun and energetic as possible. Qualified teacher of biology with 27 years of experience in teaching and tutoring from KS2 to A-level. I have just finished as Head of Biology due to moving for my husband’s job. I am a tutor of maths from KS2 to GCSE, science to KS3, biology to KS5, and also tutor adults for the teachers skills test in numeracy and functional skills. Have worked as an exam marker of KS3 maths and science, GCSE biology and A-level biology. Have experience in writing, having written an A-level revision book and topic tests for zigzag education, and practice exam questions for CGP (maths, PE and biology). Worked in education with cadets for CVQO as operations manager, delivering BTEC in Public Service for 6 years, writing resources, delivering lessons, marking projects and assessing training. Worked part time for 3 years in SEN unit in Leominster, teaching maths, science and food technology. Presently working as an educational content developer as well as tutor.
