I can tailor lessons according to the individual’s needs. I have a proven track record of ensuring that my pupils make good progress and achieve their full potential. I can teach all subjects covered in the National Curriculum at Primary level, and I can also offer Spanish from KS2 to A level and French at KS2 and KS3. I am a highly experienced and qualified teacher. I have taught for over nine years. I began as a class teacher, moving to a key stage leader and then I progressed to an assistant head teacher in 2018. During my teaching, I have taught mainly in Key Stage 2, but I also have experience in Key Stage 1. I have taught and supported pupils with SEN. Further to this I have tutored, and continue to tutor, children from year 1 to GCSE, in English, Maths and 11+ preparation. I have taught in year six for several years and also worked for an 11+ provider in Halifax, which I continue to do. I believe an important aspect of tuition is nurturing confidence. I have a personalised approach, with the pupil at the centre of all that I do. I am able to ensure progress is achieved through adaptable and focused teaching; making learning engaging and exciting.
