Mr Dominic M

I am polite, friendly, motivational, positive and encouraging, and act as a role model for my students and all sessions are fun. I help students prepare for their GCSE and A levels in Spanish covering the four key areas of listening, reading, writing and speaking. I assist with areas of uncertainty from what my students had been covering in school, as well as improving their vocabulary and grammar through interactive exercises, often using IT. I customise the learning where appropriate to coincide with individual students’ particular hobbies and interests. I also consult with the student's parents at the beginning and end of the session to identify any weak spots that were troubling the student. I have been a tutor for ten years. I have taught adult learners English who speak other languages, and currently live with my parents, brother and two year old nephew, who I help care for.

SUBJECTS TAUGHT:
Spanish
Qualifications:
BA (Hons) Spanish, University of Leeds with a distinction in Spoken Spanish. Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, Wirral Met College.
