Member since 2019 Mr Paul H

I have tutored Maths, Chemistry and Biology to GCSE, and Physics to A-level for many years. Over the last year I have also started tutoring A-level Chemistry and A-level Maths. I started teaching online some time before the pandemic and use a variety of software which allows for effective collaboration, lesson recording. Students get clear organised notes, simulations, videos which can be accessed at any time. I also run seminars on training to other tutors on how to teach online effectively. My past and present clients are very happy and, many have offered to be referees for new clients. I also have over 10 years experience as a qualified science teacher up to A-level. After graduating I spent 5 years travelling around Asia teaching which is where I learnt my love of teaching to others. I then came back to the UK to work in schools as a teaching support assistant for a year and a half before training as a science teacher specialising in Physics. Get in touch to see how I can help you or your child achieve.

I am a qualified teacher at a state-funded Academy in Gloucestershire. I have 10 years of teaching experience having had a previous career in industry. I teach Geography to all secondary age groups (KS3, GCSE and A’Level) and have taught both the Human and Physical Geography elements at A-Level. I currently teach the AQA courses at both levels. I also teach GCSE Business Studies (Edexcel). I have pastoral experience as a Head of Year and have particular skills in building rapport with students to increase engagement across the full range of abilities. My school has a wide range of SEN students so I am used to differentiating for a wide range of student’s individual needs. I am married and have two children aged 16 (boy) and 18 (girl) so I have an appreciation of the joys and challenges of parenting and a good sense of humour!
