Miss Rebecca S

I have 10 years experience of teaching primary children in mainstream primary school. Additionally, I have tutored adults and children on a 1:1 basis since 2006, including preparing pupils for the 11+ entrance exams and have considerable experience in this area. I am currently Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for curriculum and teaching and learning across a primary school in Bournemouth. I am a Specialist Leader of Education (SLE) for curriculum design, so know how to tailor a curriculum to students’ bespoke needs. I taught English as a Foreign Language to international students for 7 summers at a private college in Shropshire. I am currently offering online tuition, enabling me to work with pupils who have a range of learning styles, without the worries of Covid-19 restrictions. I know that pupils can often be wary of new people and have self-esteem concerns. I always take the time to get to know pupils at the start of the partnership and ensure that they know I am here to help them.
