Hello, My name is Fiona Wilds and I have 20 plus years of teaching experience with 5-11 year olds. I spent 17 years teaching all age groups, at a village primary school, with specialisms in Maths and History. I then went on to be a primary tutor for Kip McGrath, which I have been doing for 4 years, aswell as a private tutor. I love working on a one to one basis with students, developing a fantastic, positive relationship of mutual respect with my students. I have helped many students, particularly those working towards their SATs and 11+, to achieve their deserved grades, whilst building confidence and self-esteem. I use a varierty of teaching methods depending on the individual student and their needs. I am passionate about helping each student reach their full potential and flourish. Additionally, I am an Edexcel Key Stage 2 SAT examiner for the 'Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar' paper. I would love to hear how I can help your child to progress and be the best possible version of themselves they can be.
