I qualified as a primary school teacher in 1993. I have taught all ages in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2: working in The Channel Islands, London, Bedfordshire and Suffolk and I am a former deputy headteacher in a school for pupils with learning difficulties (SEN). I have been tutoring pupils privately for a number of years now and with great success. I mainly tutor in English and Mathematics for Key Stage 1 & 2 but occasionally older pupils who need a boost in literacy and numeracy. The transition from Primary to Secondary school can challenge some pupils. I do currently undertake some online tuition and I am more than happy to tutor online using Zoom etc should parents request this. If other subjects are required other than Literacy/ Numeracy I will always give serious consideration to the request.
